Mammoth opening week (November, 2002):
Mammoth opened on Nov. 7 and had a dump of 2 - 4 feet of fresh snow - sufficient to open the top runs (e.g., Climax, Cornice) for some excellent skiing. Some of our intrepid skiers (and boarders) partook of this delightful situation. It was like spring skiing without the slush!!!
